  1. This never happened.
  2. AEBS is pretty standard today, even the monkeys with iphones are safe(r)

At least the green crumplezone worked!!

Love the comments on there from the copper justifying himself poncing around in a tractor unit collecting cash :unamused: , and the self righteous, self appointed road marshall ■■■■ cyclist reporting people with his headcam, …he needs it shoved somewhere where he can record the workings of his inner organs. :smiling_imp:

I sincerely hope that never happens to me, I never ■■■■ about with my phone whilst driving, but for that to happen you don’t need to.
Nobody can ever concentrate fully 100% on any given thing for 9 hours solid, it’s humanly impossible…■■■■ happens, that’ s life. :bulb:

If you play that video backwards it never happend

Fortunately that was a driverless car, imagine, if someone had been in there they’d be a goner.

Best argument for driverless technology you can get.

Should be mandatory viewing for all the brake test dummies out there.

Wouldn’t have helped the ■■■■■■■■ I saw the other night watching a film on his phone perched on the speedo less than 20ft from the lorry in front he was following at 56MPH as he weaved down the A1 in his fully loaded truck.

AEBS can help reduce the impact of an accident, it can’t eliminate the chance of it altogether.
