Following notification of an event of default under the senior credit facility, and a realisation that there were no alternatives that could be explored any further, Focus Directors have come to the conclusion that to protect the interests of creditors they have no choice but to seek protection through filing a notice of intention to appoint administrators.
The Directors have sought consent from the business’s lenders to appoint E&Y as the administrators. All stakeholders including staff are being informed.

Didn’t Focus buy Do It All and then rebrand it as Focus? Thought that was strange as Do It All was a strong brand and i’d never heard of Focus or maybe they just changed the name. Thought the livery wasn’t up to much either.
Maybe B&Q or Wickes will buy them or some of the stores, although they may just profit from their downfall without laying out any money.
Salford Van Hire must be in full on panic mode ! They have loads of motors with Focus.Whoops.
Not surprised; Focus in Witney is crap with clueless staff and everything I look for is sold out. The local ■■■■■■ will be upset as it’s where they pinch most of their tools from.
Oh, and there’s always a bloody charity collecting outside

the transport company i work for at the moment are part of a parcel delivery network and we used to deliver all the large items for focus (garden furniture,big plastic storage sheds etc etc). got a phone call from the hub today saying “everything to do with focus throw it back on the trunk tonight”.

The writing has been on the wall for over 2 years now, my cousin is the manager at Avonmouth and 2 years ago he said it will be all over within a year so they have done well to last this long, I used to do a lot of work at Western Approach DC at Avonmouth until they shut 2 years ago.
