Jeez man they’ll be dissappointed after reading that
Such modesty driver
It’s worth a look, so here’s a shameless bump back to the top of page one
so, was that you in the ditch NMM?
Not yet Spanky I’m about to embark on another mountaineering expedition, so watch this space
Seriously, those pictures of trucks in the ditch, I put them up myself, but never until I’m safely at home, don’t want to tempt fate Over here there are so many things that can put you in the ditch, a strong side wind on an icy road and you’re just a passenger on a one way trip to the ditch, you can also have some ■■■■■■■■overtake you and white you out with snow dust, you can’t see a thing, literally, it’s like your windows have been painted white, a loss of your bearings and you’re in the ditch, taking avoiding action for someone else’s mistake and again, you’re in the ditch, or even driving just a little bit too fast and hitting a patch of ice, you’re in the ditch, it’s almost a case of when, not if, sounds like a lot of fun don’t it
A really good read and some fantastic photos, I always love reading these Long Distance Diaries, that’s why I started out all those years ago when they used to do them in Truck and Truck & Driver.
Excellent photos, really enjoyed all of the recent picture diaries from all you guys over the pond. BIG Thanks…
Thanks for your kind words all. A bit more room in that truck than my 86!
Seeing motors off the roads like seeing a sinking ship bloody awfull.
