Flu in Ukraine

There’s a massive outbreak of flu in Ukraine, with schools, authorities and even factories closed down.
The worst situation is in Lvov and Ternipil regions.

Doctors were deployed to PL-UA and SK-UA border crossings to randomly check travellers. People showing flu symptoms may be denied entry into SK/PL (i.e. EU)

so take vitamins and lemsip with you when going that way

…and add face mask into your gear, the UA border police charges every foreigner 50 hrivna (~4euro) for not wearing one. No ticket of course  The Ukrainians don’t wear them, neither commoners nor the police. Slovak guards do, also gloves. Three people were taken to Kosice hospital straight from the border yesterday. Waiting times unaffected.
