I am guessing there is not a massive amount of room for the vehicles opposite him to get out of the bay and swing round, never mind the fact that the Transporter driver would have to reverse a couple of truck lengths in order to get out.
Still almost as good as the 2 lanes of queuing traffic at Cheively last week blocking anyone trying to exit the services - well done to all involved in that !!

Indeed. Other than the transporter having to reverse assuming he’s not got his curtains closed and the flip-flop is only taking a 45, there’s plenty of room for the wagons parked in the bays to get out. More room than we have in our yard between the rows of trailers and we manage OK.

He saw the transporter driver sitting in his (RHD) cab, so he pulled alongside and lowered his window to ask for directions?

Sorry mr van driver, although i stand by what i say 
Services are a joke now, had to queue around Doncaster services a couple of weeks back because too many lorries and too few brains, so that was the last nail in that particular coffin, I never use them in the summer due to the smell of urine, now I no longer use any services in the winter.
Too many lorries and not enough facilities, 3rd world transport operation to go with the 3rd world roads, may as well be in Africa, not Morocco though, they have a lovely road network now

the other night was one parked on the end of reading services lorry park , so couldnt get round the bollards/lamposts . but fair play , its the closest to services you can get if you dont know about the coach bays . chaos for everyone else but thats not the soviet way .
Had one do that to me at Thurrock services on a Friday night. Plenty of room else where. Made it fun getting out at 02:30am in the morning. Not a problem for a professional driver such as myself though.
