i think you have a choice here,if i’m right you have fleming howden who do tanker work transporting flour out of leith docks unless they have moved.then you got flemings at newbridge i think it’s chocolate that they make in there.if it is something to do with moffats in dalgety bay then i ain’t going to bother telling you anything about them,but will say this STAY WELL CLEAR :exclamation:

just read today - this is a company set up by the directors of a.m.fleming (?) in scotland with a view to taking over wm.martin oliver’s business - don’t know any more details sorry

Nothing to do with Moffats of Dalgetty Bay. Their other division was called Almik, which is the names of the two sons rolled into one name. They where given a few wagons and trailers and left to get on with it. They failed I believe, or the work was all subbed from dad, so it just died a death because the drivers continued phoning the usual number to get backload instructions.

thats what I had heard to. Can find no information bout them. Is this another scam to start again in a new name.

The only A M Fleming I can find is a disolved company.

all smells a bit fishy to me. Can find no listing for a Stirling based company called Fleming Logistics anywhere. Peoples jobs and families are at stake here. Are we always the last to know whats going on.

‘Fleming Logistics, a company formed by the directors of Scottish haulier A&M Fleming, is applying for a licence from the NE Traffic Area to take over the business of William Martin Oliver & Partners.’
