Not a problem I was working for a firm based near York called W A Pick and Sons and they had bought the Daf 2nd hand from David Taylor near Driffield.

Having driven for Gwynedd Shipping 3 times i’ve had allsorts on a flat, here are a few. I never had a decent camera when i did my forst stint aged 22 with them, i wish i had my pics from back then!
I love flats and General Haulage, every day is an adventure! My work now is cleaner and better paid but i aim to head home when i’m in a financial state to do so!!!

Me loading plate up a mountain in South Wales (Forget the town but its right up a mountain to their yard!) Bearers were sliding a goodun as the deck was solid ICE!!!
Kent Wire, i bloody HATED this stuff!!! Chatham to Ireland, 20 loads a week for years!!! My old man used to send me up aged 13ish to locate the straps! This was a load a mate SUNK at Birkinhead!
