Flair LGV Training?

Has anyone used this company for any training if so would you recommend them?

I have no personal experience of Flair Training but the proprietor of Flair training is a member on this board and goes by the name of LGVTrainer.

A few of his trainees have posted on here and always speak well of the training experience, I think you’ll find there will be people recommending Flair Training when they see this thread

You won’t go wrong using Flair.

Paul

Using this sites search facility you will find loads who recommend them - just search - FLAIR

Go for it!

Pete

Short memories people? The search function for “Flair” going back a few years seems to tell a very different story. Is it not still the same fella running it? :open_mouth:

Different times and a totally different scenario

I got an ABH over 30 years ago so does that make me a violent person now?

Had a few friends go with flair for their training and never had a problem with the services provided.

Let’s just hope his manners are better in person than they are on here. The guy once called me an idiot for asking questions regarding the module 4!

Endgame let me make this clear. You are so typical of people that want to pass not LEARN. Stop moaning because you will never be a proper driver.

You wish you could do the periodic training because you could not pass a test

Get real and never book training with us.

Delete your account. You’re an idiot
Regards

^^^^^ He did apologise a couple of days later, but I feel people should be aware of how he might respond to them if they have a conflicting view with him. That response I got above was in relation to me saying I wish I’d of had the option of the periodic training, as opposed to the module 4. Not sure calling somebody an “idiot” is something a professional should be saying.

I saw that post and have to agree it was not a good one but as that is not ‘normal’ then I would assume he had a numpty moment after possibly a few bevvies … it did deserve an apology IMO

Once a scoundrel, always a scoundrel.

Having a few bevvies, IMO, is no reason to speak to somebody like that. Infact, why would somebody come onto a forum, that is designed to help people, drunk, just to insult them? Isn’t that called “trolling” ?

:open_mouth: That is utterly shocking behaviour. No-one should do business with people with that attitude. As “contraflow” says in similar words above, leopards never change their spots… :bulb: Very disappointing to see other respective driving schools wanting to associate themselves with people like that. :frowning:

Perhaps it’s time to stop posting on this site if all some people want do is slate trainers for no reason.

Paul

I guess that might be aimed partly at me. I didn’t know John in his previous life. I believe all the explanations, defences and apologies have been made long since. All I know is that John is committed to training folks and them passing tests. I also know that he has the knowledge and ability to do this. His late night comment was out of order IMO.

I continue to recommend John - but only to those who don’t want to travel to me!

Pete

Only slating the 1 trainer - who called me an idiot.

As for all the other trainers on here, I can’t thank them enough for all the useful advice they give.

To begin with I apologise to newboy23 who asked a simple question. I never intended to reply on this thread and don’t intend to respond to the above posts.

Flair is a very small but highly experienced LGV training business. Very small by choice very experienced by the fact we average 100 passes each year for the 5 years we have existed. That’s just Flair. Multiply my training experience by 6.

There are many members on this site that have been through our system. Not 1 member that trained with us has failed to obtain their licence.

So occasionally I get a bit passionate about what I do. Is it because Im an idiot or is it because I believe what I’m saying. I did make a mistake in August. The mistake has been posted the apology has not been.

There has not been even 1 year at Christmas that we have not offered a free course to a board member and this year will be no different.

Everyone loves a good read and most believe what they read.

Good luck if you’re testing next week

Has a good reputation . When I had a problem with reversing and made an enquiry about booking extra training , John at Flair was extemely helpfull in the advice that he gave . Was unable to book with him as I was training in an Artic . His test pass rate speaks for itself .

Thanks everyone for your comments, I will be booking tomorrow

I will be booking tomorrow

You do right. All the best with it, Pete
