As many here will know I have been involved training candidates for over 30 years. In fact since 1983
Last year at 59 I went for a career change and became a DVSA driving examiner. I sent my only son Stuart to Peter Smythe to train and become a trainer which he did.
Stuart now has some experience and has been handed the reigns. Obviously he has me on call but it’s time to hand over.
Thanks to all members on here who have supported me over the years. I do love testing the LGV candidates but miss the training world
I will need to change my login name I guess
Best of luck. I successfully passed my cat C with you a few years ago.
Now I know the son’s dad is the examiner I may return to do my c+e
Good luck to your son Stuart, if he is partially as good as you john I am sure he will be very successful…
Lots of respect to John for making the move. It’s something that crossed my mind many years ago but I’m pleased I stayed with instruction.
John will do well in his new role as he brings so much experience from the “other side” to it. Stuart will be fine - - - he was well trained!!!
All the very best to the both of you, Pete
