I am sure everyone has the same problem of rubber suckers not holding things as they should, sat-navs, mobile phones, dashcams etc. They always become unstuck at the worst possible moment and usually end up in the footwell, not easy to retrieve when your driving. On one occasion my sat-nav ended up under the clutch pedal when I was on the speed limit on the M1!
I have a solution that really does work, Fixodent denture fixative, make sure the windscreen (Or whatever you are sticking the sucker to, it works on plastic too) and smear a small amount of Fixodent on the rim of the rubber sucker then place on the windscreen as normal. Since I started this fix I have not had anything come unstuck.
Using Fixodent has the advantage that it can be removed easily if you are a cab hopper.
And you now have somewhere to put your false teeth at night when you go to bed - just stick them to the window along with your phone , sat nav , toll box bull fighting spears and pendants .
Do you think condensed milk will be OK to stick the sat-nav on? Only my old man used to stick his false teeth in with it. He used to put them in a glass with some Domestos every night, said he wasn’t paying through the nose for the special stuff!

I suspect Robroy will know, he’s previous said that Steradent tablets are good for cleaning his Thermos flask.
He’d probably drink the Domestos!
Which would explain a lot…

No, he wasn’t a totter, lorry driver, although he used to come home with all sorts of stuff he’d spotted lying in the road. In particular I remember a rolled gents umbrella, and another time one of those Tyrolean hats with a feather in. He was tight though, when he drove a petrol Bedford O type, he used to have an aspirin bottle on a bit of string to fill his lighter. He didn’t half moan when the firm gave him a diesel!

Agreed…
Can all you Satnav people clean up that gummy little circle of gob/phlegm/snot or what ever it is that you stick the ■■■■ thing to the windscreen with.
Somedays it looks like I’m driving an advertising board for Audi cars.
