I want to fit a tv in the Daf XF106 I drive. I want to put it above the passenger door but don’t want to go down the route of cutting panels or drilling holes. Has anyone fitted one and how did you do it? Any useful info appreciated.
Superglue.
No Nails
Not wanting to appear negative, but how do you expect to fit a TV bracket, to mount a TV on, without drilling holes.
By somehow utilising the pocket above the door. Piece of mdf placed in there perhaps. Just need to think of ways of securing it properly.
To the idiots on here about no more nails, superglue etc. Jog on.

Sorry don’t post often but, in a 2003 XF I had, I used the thick long cable ties to secure the bracket to the plastic trim above the door. never had any movement from it and she spent most days on sites. when I left I just cut the cable ties and pulled them out. might be worth having a look at…
Has the XF not got a mounting point for a grab handle above the door like a CF?

I had a TV fitted to a piece of flat MDF and 2 pieces of MDF that fitted to the back of the piece the TV mounted on, that slid perfectly into the pocket above the passenger door. No drilling holes or screwing nails into the pocket what so ever and no need to worry about the TV falling off when driving due to the fact that the pocket is that deep and if you get the width of the 2 pieces that fit in the pocket right it’s as secure as if fitted using screws, nails etc. I had a 16 inch TV with built in DVD player mounted onto an adjustable bracket with tilt fixed to the piece of MDF and had it up 2 years without it falling off, even when I had the truck over at Tinsley roundabout
