I have a MAN TGS 2016.
It has the most basic of radios and appears to have no Bluetooth function, although the steering wheel has phone controls.
How complicated will it be to replace the radio with a modern single din unit?
Assuming I can find a blank plate to fit the MAN dash, will this involve complicated wiring and power drops etc?
Anyone have an alternative solution to fit a DAB Bluetooth unit into a truck?

2016 MANs, they had an AUX in plug. I got a male to male lead and played stuff from my phone through the truck speakers. I used a Bluetooth headset for phone calls.

You have to be a real hamfisted gimp to screw it up when the dash has a standard DIN/double DIN slot already there.

WHIW, I’ll bet most 2016 trucks would have a plug in of some sort, even if they don’t have a Bluetooth or whatever.

The long tray where you can put your ■■■■, phone and sunnies. There was a USB port and the AUX IN on the passenger side of that ledge thingy. Kinda obscure but not obscure if that makes sense.

Have you considered a transmitter this is a cheap one from Halfords the more expensive ones allow music playback from a USB drive as well as from Bluetooth connected devices.

As it says in the description -

Basically you tune your existing radio FM to a channel that is not used then you tune the DAB plug in radio to that same channel and they link and you get the DAB radio through your existing set up.
