It was doing work for an international metal recycler, only as an agency driver so no pay off They had four artics at the yard and are getting rid of three. Think they will sub the work out for peanuts.
sign of the times I’m afraid. best thing to do is dust your self off and remember you are a valued driver who WILL be taken on again! may not happen this week or month but it will happen.

Its happening everywhere at my depot the whole warehouse and all admin staff made redundant only the drivers remain and now we are expected to load trucks, sort out paperwork,runs,defects,agency drivers,hire units. There is cost cutting then there is just ripping the pish!
