Afternoon all
I have a collection in Hartlepool Monday morning and then need to take the container to Port of Tyne Dock at South Shields. Any directions would be much appreciated.
A19 all the way right up to Tyne Tunnel… Keep in the left lane and you should see a lane slip off to your left - take that slip road. Don’t end up going through the tunnel…
You’ll bend sharp left, then right - up and over the Tyne Tunnel. Come to a roundabout and take the third exit, basically you’ve come up and over to come back down the other side next to the tunnel…
Come to another roundabout, take the first exit (sign posted A185 South Shields, and the white over black ‘Port of Tyne’ truck signs).
Carry on along that road, you’ll come across some traffic lights that actually go to the port. If you have a container on - I don’t think you want that entrance…
Carry on a bit more and you come to another roundabout, turn left and along there the next roundabout you come to, turn left into the main entrance of the Port of Tyne.

Surprised I remembered with not being a driver anymore… 
Bear in mind the exit slip road is literally 100yds from the mouth of the tunnel. Port Of Tyne NE34 9PT.
