Last week I worked through an agency tramping for a logistics company. It was fairly easy but not something I would do every week.
My question is what is the average hourly rate for such work and how is it paid by the hour? And if breaks are included etc??
I think my pay was quite good at just short of £1k for the week but I’m interested in what others get paid doing the same work??

How many hours duty time did you do for this £1000? How many lay-bys did you sleep in? How many proper dinners did you eat?

There lies the main question…How many hours?
Oh yeh…and are you including your night out subsistence in your £1000.?
You invariably hear the ‘‘We’re on GOOD money us’’…, but then you hear they have done what is essentially a week and a half’s hours in a week, and that they are including their £150 or whatever for 5 nights out.
That is when it ceases to be ‘‘good money’’ imo.
And as drover implies… were you actualky tramping which can be quite enjoyable, or on a endurance excercise,.which ain’t. 
For a normal mon - fri that’s fine , average , but if your doing like a lot do , weekends as part of your shift , 5 nights out & running in , a extra shift , wasn’t it a bank hol a week or so ago then it not very good
It’s good though in the sense if you said you earnt £1,000 pw not long ago you’d get called a troll , dreamer etc etc , now £1,000 pw is the norm
