Had my first shift today with spa all was going well until i managed to scrape a recovery vehicle outside one if the drops knocked me back a bit but managed to pull it together and get the shift done tbf the agency and transport office were golden some of them shops are bloody tight though for the size of truck and app its a known accident spot where it happend trust me to get it first time out question i have is how will this affect me getting future work?
Hiya shouldn’t be a problem sh*t happens nobody wants to hit anything but like everything else we all learn from it and move on, is it the spar in Willenhall? Done Saturday work for them before and I know how tight they can be Leicester used to be fold the mirrors in and inch it back.
Jeff
No mate it was the one in pelsall dont like the sound of the one in leicster lol
Sorry just realised you meant the main hub yeah it was willenhall
Done spar pelsall no room backing in thro the gates not much room by the back door either, done it for spar and brakes aswell.
Yeah mate thats the one shouldve made him move his truck really before i started reversing as he was parked right on the corner ■■■■■■ off with myself really as i managed much worse after wombourne was a tight one aswell
Come down to Cornwall and try the Spar in Fowey or numerous other villages , by god they are tight and sometimes you have to push the cages for 100 yards to get them to the shop , still living and working down here does have its compensations
I can imagine what there like down there mate i hope they are coming out and helping with the cages if you gotta push em that far driver with a buggerd back isnt no good!
Wombourne can be fun but at least the chip shop is half decent worst bit is driving round the village square to get there lol.the “locals” just look like they never seen a lorry before
Done Pelsall in a rigid and Wombourne in a rigid and an urban artic not that tight really, been to a lot worse.
Must be cos im new fenster practice will make perfect i hope where would you say the worst drops are? Did have a guy in the canteen tellin me about one in wales
Cant think of any really bad ones in Wales although I was only there 18 months so probably some stores I never did. Couple of tight ones I can think of are Docking and Louth both artic drops. They always send the right size truck for the drop so you know it will fit, take your time, it might take a few shunts but in it goes.
