waynedl:

It shows them here :arrow_right: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npI1FsFfvLM&feature=player_embedded

Actrosman:

Probably on a steering wheel stalk like their cars are.

Inline straight 6

If their gearbox can match or beat the I-shift, looks like the new King of Europe to me!

As for looks, I think Merc have done a great job of making a brand new cab look new aqnd fresh, but with a nod to the current Actros, so as to keep a ‘family’ look and leave the outgoing model not looking ‘dead in the water’ immediately.

One minor gripe, that light tan interior looks a devil to keep clean!

I have for many years expounded to the manufacturers the fact that T/Net could supply an impartial panel of drivers to critic thier new proposed working environments,

Noooo, I would’nt want some of the opinions I see on here designing trucks thank you :grimacing:

Toby? :stuck_out_tongue:

Think, a truck designed by Limyphil, Rob K, Scanny77, Toby :open_mouth: :stuck_out_tongue: , to name but a few, much as we love them all dearly and cherish the hours of entertainment they provide :stuck_out_tongue: , driving a truck designed by a commitee of TN members might be a bit scarey and unpredictable :grimacing:

The grill looks a bit like that VW thing to me and the dashboard screams Scania :open_mouth: but never the less it does look like a nice motor, I wouldn’t say no

looks wise im not convinced but interior looks really good i wonder which fleet will get em first over here

I think that looks awesome. About time someone radically changed the exterior of trucks.
Looks like they have put alot of thought into the interior aswell. Looking forward to seeing this up close.

I just like the bit “A relaxed driver can save two litres of fuel”.

Its the kind of propaganda I could go for.

It looks like the model could be a mate of Gok Wan, how many lorry drivers have you seen that size?

I’ll have it in, “Classic”, trim; Scania 14 litre V8 and Eaton Twinsplitter…back of the net!

LOOKS LIKE ITS GROWLIN AT YA FROM THE FRONT HA HA

Rikki-UK:
Just heard will hopefully have some interior pics by the end of the week.

that will be a nice suprise for someone on a monday mornin’ :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :open_mouth: :

I like it

after watching the video the lockers look a bit small, and the outside locker should swing up like a volvo to stop people banging their heads. personally im not a fan, i think it looks good, but im not convinced. and give me a normal key and a manual gearbox anyday, same as cars, all getting far too electrical with too much to go wrong

Tell you what you trucking geeks will love this video

You get a remote control to do your PUI checks 11.40 minutes :stuck_out_tongue: .

Looking at the front of it i keep expecting it to turn into a transformer

Boss has been in to see about ordering one to be told RHD version not available till 1st April 2012 :frowning: mind you I might have my C+E back by then lol

I agree on the key,it look’s expensive. 2,000,000 k’s of testing done,can anyone remember how many test mile’s the mp1 did…not many i’d guess,hopefully Merc have learnt they’re lesson.
