#1, it was a women on the end of a phone.
#2, It may have been the wrong time of the month.
#3, She may have had a row with husband / boyfriend the nite before.
#4, She may hate her job like we all do sometimes.
Dont take it that litterally, the job maybe fine! You can catch people on a bad day
5…Go round there and batter her.
Never speak to a women about a job as a lorry driver. Women and road haulage just don’t mix imho.
Lets start guessing.

quite a few places ive rang up after putting down the phone,
did send an email to a well known firm once. firm was based in somerset and had a depot in manchester i enquired about any vacancies got a reply back saying “why are you asking for a job we dont have any depots near you, doesnt matter any way because we are not taking on”.
sent one back complimenting him on his fantastic people skills as well as enquiring when he last got his leg over.
also a well known container company whom i rang up one day asked me which football team i supported, went very quiet when i said tranmere rovers…

I think i get it.
I have had to interview two guys in the past two weeks for driving jobs in our terminal, this is because our regional manager is based in Massachusettes, he does the initial phone interview but then sends them to me to inform them the truth about the job and suss out if they would be any good. I tell them all the bad things about the job to see their reaction, as it was both were fine and start next week
