First drive of driverless truck

I had my first drive of a driverless truck today.

It handled really well, although the gearbox was a bit slow making its mind up.

Well it is a MAN.

(One of the blokes at work left and I had to take out his now driverless truck)

Why would it need a driver when its driverless ? surely it only needs a passenger or whatever the PC name is.
