Well did first day with Tippers today in company of somebody else,this being my first drive since failing class 1 a few weeks ago,55 plate Foden which i have been told is a DAF really.The gearbox took a bit of getting used to as it was slightly different from the one i was taught in any way all the work was round the Midlands drove it empty which was nice and then we loaded up with just over 20 tonne of gravel and this gave us gross weight off 32 tonne wow what a difference this makes to every aspect of driving.It made you plan a lot further ahead ,i really enjoyed the day cant wait until tomorrow money not brilliant but its a step towards getting the experience and getting the money together to take class 1 again I Will keep you updated on how it goes…cheers
