After creating this thread viewtopic.php?f=5&t=49198 I have just done my first days training.
It’s going well so far, mastered the 4 over 4 gearbox like a dream. The truck was a Daf 85CF artic thats been converted to an 18 ton rigid. Starting out as my instructor put it “driving it like a go kart” but after a couple of hours I started driving it like a truck. Only a short post but I’ll add to it again tomorrow night. Got another 6 hours tomorrow, then 4 hours including test on thursday.
