Fines for insecure loads

I’m needing a bit of help as I can’t find the information anywhere. It’s for my business work as I’m writing about everyones favourite subject Health and safety :laughing: :laughing:

So question is what’s the maximum fine for an insecure load. Say if you were pulled by vosa and they checked the load to find it’s not been strapped down properly etc. Or if you had an accident and was found that the load is insecure. Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question but I’m needing the information for my business work :smiley:

jonny im just guessing here but i would say if you have an accident and your load kills some one then a fine is nothing you would be looking at a jail sentence a long one at that

:open_mouth: i was going to say the same , it would depend on if the load is still on the vehicle or on someones head , i would imagine the fine and or punishment would vary somewhat . :open_mouth:

That’s essentially what I’ve written in my assignment. It’s shocking how much work I have to get done by tomorrow up to next week :open_mouth: :open_mouth:
