fined £200

Did you load those ■■■■ in Emmerich Phil?

limeyphil:

dazaster:
wasit the same copper that did you for the ■■■■?

no, that was ukba.
but he, and ukba won’t ever be employed by british intelligence.

since when has Immigration been concerned with dodgy ■■■■?

UKBA have got nothing to do with HM C&E

if you get stopped by HM C&E with immigrants onboard, they will not inform UKBA, and vice versa, UKBA will not inform HM C&E about dodgy ■■■■

so, if you are going to ■■■■■■■■ people, you could at least get your facts right :unamused:

Hi
I thought customs and immigration had been brought together to make just one organisation but still doing seperate duties. Also is it not possible to take a break on the new P&O boat, DFDS and Nord pas calais tub as they have couchettes?

regards

Graham

I also thought the UK Border Agency was the new catch all name for everyone. They are all I see now, doesn’t every body at Dover apart from VOSA wear UKBA hiviz vests?

If you mean those sun lounger type things in the driver’s area on the Spirit of Britain then they aint couchettes. A couchette is pretty much the same as a bunk, what you get, or used to get, on sleeper trains.

Indeed it is.

The UK Border Agency (UKBA) is the border control body of the United Kingdom (UK) government and part of the Home Office. It was formed on 1 April 2008 by a merger of the Border and Immigration Agency (BIA), UKvisas and the Detection functions of HM Revenue and Customs. The decision to create a single border control organisation was taken following a Cabinet Office report.[1] The agency is divided into three broad command structures, each under the management of a senior director:

external controls including visa issue in overseas posts
borders, including passport and customs controls

in that case, i stand corrected, and i humbly appologise to limeyphil for making an arse of myself

the last time i went over (under actually) the water, they were two totally seperate lots of people that gave me hassle on my way home :imp:

Well you took me in

switchlogic:
I’ve a feeling he may have been caught out by the 24 (calendar!) hour spreadover, like I was.

i was well under a 13 hour spread, and i’ve had a download by vosa.
i said to the vosa men, that if i was wrong, then i will pay the fine, but they told me i was 100% legal.

but, someone said that i can make a claim for my expenses.
no i can’t. this is classed as a criminal case, not civil.
