Finding HGV work as a new class 2 driver

I retrained to get my class 2 license as I was told there is a HGV shortage and the Government is offering funding to get your license; so I did a skills bootcamp as I thought it would be a good idea and I like driving.

However, since passing my test approximately 6 months ago, I have found it challenging to find any work to get some experience (I am based in the East Anglian region).

Just thought I would reach out and see if anyone had experienced something similar or had any help and advice to offer?

go find an company that has vans as well as rigids and get a job on the vans let it be known you have the license and work your way up

Try builders merchant.some (jewson) used to put you through you hiaab as well
