I get to start my driving career almost 4 months after passing class 1
Anyone any suggestions on what i need to carry with me?
Already got:
Backpack
Torch
Hi Viz clothing
Timer
Digi card
some tacho charts
sat nav
BIG map with briges and weight limits
drivers handbook
gloves
notepad and pen/pencil
Do not forget a sleeping bag and wash kit just incase you get stuck on a night out.
And enough Dosh.

Depends on the job you’re going to be doing, what you need for trunking a couple of hundred miles up the road and back isn’t the same as what you’ll require for tramping 
Btw don’t use your own charts, get some of the company you’re going to drive for, then if there’s a problem with the charts it’s there problem not yours, and apart from that you shouldn’t have to provide your own charts.
a few magazines or a good book, always worth carrying these things just in case you get delayed somewhere. there is nothing worse than getting stuck somewhere and having to read the backs of packets and old memo’s (own up , who has done this to pass the time).
i will need to get more stuff in a few weeks as i do intend going tramping but just to start me off i will be on nights,
mobile phone charger might come in handy
