decided today to tell ma boss, stick your job,am not sitting waiting on you to decide when or if am gonna work again,so your childish strop from saturday is still on going, away to empty the truck and go home, and just by luck,i had an old boss fone me this morning asking if i wanted to go back and work with him,no stress with it,home most nights, slightly less money, but you cant have it all,so doing bulk for a while, result.

,oh yes your the BARDON MAN
,because id done waitrose bardon for a bit he didnt know me by my name, just by where i went
,if you can get a small firm, good boss[mate really] it can be sound, but big firms have there advantages, they dont know you exist half the time, best of luck with new/old job though

That’s right ady. One of our senior transport managers once had a pop at a driver with five years service over the condition of a hire vehicle. He thought the driver was from the hire company.
Best of luck with your new adventure. It seems, that someone was watching over you. couldnt have worked out better.
older truck but nice and tidy, well looked after, and manual, none of this running on the limit all the time either.
Good luck, hope it works out second time around…
when i worked for the guy before,it was just thru the harvest period, but we got along great, one of his regular drivers had a heart attack about 2 month ago,so hes been off for a while,an the other guy,i worked beside with another(cowboy)outfit, but he has only 1 arm,but he can do the most of what anyone else can do,great guy to get on with as well, but hes in hospital next week for op on his hand, doesnt know when/if hes going back to driving, but its gonna be hard keeping a check on my driving time, havent done a lot of analogue tachos, been mostly digi.

That’s what happened at my old job. Had a row with the owner, and he hadn’t the balls to say don’t come in. He left it to his lick-■■■ TM to ring me after the weekend. The call went…
“Can you come in?”
“Will I be working?”
“Er…No”
“Well I ain’t wasting my diesel coming in then!”
