well finally after 4 years of fighting i phoned up dvla today and was told the medical dept have recommend i can hold a hgv licence i had been waiting for this for 10 years spent last 4 fighting it as they claimed i had a siezure in 2003 proved i didnt but i was given medication for it which meant i had to wait 10 years before holding a licence and now today i can im so happy

my most local to me is a1 roadcraft in salisbury got some of the money in place going to speak to them to see how much everything is goning to be any tips are muchly appriciated
Phew - that was a long wait! Hope you’re going to visit the trainer before you part with money. Make sure you’re happy with the staff and vehicles. Always visit unless booking on rock solid recommendation.

i went to a open day a1 roadcraft held 2-3 years ago drove one of there trucks spoke to the owner i plan on going to see them soon and have a chat with them i also know a coupe of people who have used them i will be asking you some questions as well pete at some point
do not think they are in the recommended list - probably because no-one has reported and recommended them so far
Be interesting to know your views and perhaps a daily training diary

you wernt the only one i phone the dvla up on the wednesday to get get a update to be told the doctors mucked up some info so i got into contact with docs gave them some abuse phoned up following wednesday after bank holiday to see if dvla got all the info and was told they had and a decision was made took the mick the licence arrived before the confirmation now my other problem is im use to phoning dvla up and shouting at them and calling them morons etc i gotta find someone else to shout at

Yep know what you mean as I was similar but now to find a training provider so that will soon take your time or & practice for your theory & HPT good luck with that it not hard

along with my 2 jobs and my good lady taking up my time she is more over the moon than i am about it only been with her since new years eve
