hi all
been a long long time since iv been on here. last year i was set on becoming an hgv driver got everything done and passed in early december. then it all got put to one side for one reason or another, basically had a lot going on. started working as a porter for 7.20 an hour and £20 for a night out. whereas the driver was getting between £10/11ph then time and half after 10 hour and about £35 a night out. so i thought F this im doing as much as the driver near enough and getting paid £4/5 quid less an hour so finally took the plunge and booked module 2 of the cpc!! really suprised at how long its taken to get booked in though i dont sit the test until 23rd of may. then after hopefully passing will have to go on the waiting list for the practical. basicly other than me rambling im here to ask if there is any new training material out there for me to learn from? as when i last look there wasnt much. im looking at buying the 60 day course thing on drivingtheory4all for £18. has anyone used this and would you recommend it ? thanks a lot
Well, looks like you’ll get there in the end! The drivingtheory4all material is as good as it gets.
If you’re not a million miles from us we also run a half day preparation course for Mod 2.

I used http://drivingtheory4all.co.uk for a period then I stopped for a few months and had to start practising again. I then used http://lgvtheory.co.uk which I found was cheaper .
Both the above are good with quite a few questions to work your way through. I also bought a cd rom on ebay which was utter drivel and almost homemade with lots of errors.

It’s a piece of urine if truth be told.
It’s basically all the knowledge you gained from the multiple choice theory wrapped up in a ‘real life scenario’
I was a little worried about it as well before I took the test. I think this is more down to the fact that their isn’t much information out there about what to expect.
