Dipper Dave will fit the bill nicely, eloquent, truck driver with a definite penchant for outdoor activities and wildlife.
I’m still haunted by the typo about his cat in another thread. I’m sill sure it was a Freudian slip.

What the hell is a ‘camel spider’ , is it one with the hump ?Like a normal spider, but with 8 toes.
Found a lot around british beaches and town centres particularly attracted to leggings.
Latin name ’ Moose Knuckleus’ or Ninjas Flip Flop…
www.youtube.com/watch?v=WpP7dtRBPp4 , summit to do with this then?
Camel Spiders on the move at night look a bit like this
I used to think I was hallucinating until I found out what they were

I see all types of birds of prey sitting on the fences by the side of motorways, some look tired and are resting.
They don’t mind the noise of the traffic. And watch the traffic.

Hi,I am a filmmaker and currently looking for a truck driver to feature in a documentary.
The documentary will be looking at people perceptions of nature and will feature lots of uk wildlife.I am looking for anyone who enjoys the outdoors/nature in someway, maybe someone who loves the big skys they see from the truck, the seasons change across the year or the animals they see while driving around the UK.
If you think this is you get in touch - here or at the below contact
Cheers
all the bestDuncan
I saw a sight I thought was fantastic, three new born lambs in a field feeding from their mother, their little tails going ten to the dozen, nowhere to stop otherwise I would have taken a picture,i thought it was great because you rarely see something so close to a road
who the hell would want to watch a hairy arsed trucker who is into wildlife ?
you do know truckers ■■■■ a lot in there cabs and pick there noses all day long, some even eat it ■■? i bet you wouldn’t want to show that on your film but if you did it would be a true reflection of a trucker, not to mention the smoking in the cabs and the looking down at lady drivers who pass by in cars hoping for a flash of leg or more
i think if you shown the bit of leg drivers get to see from the cabs it might be more appealing.
the only wildlife i seen on the roads was squashed ones.

Maybe the same people who watch hairy arsed bikers who’re into food…
They seem popular enough even though I can’t stand them.

Does it involve 70’s music, big blonde birds and me wearing a tank top and big tasche?..if so, Yes…I’m game on
Can’t remember if we worked out it was a member here or not but I think this guy was into the outdoors life and a truck driver.
Maybe call the channel 4 production company that introduced the world to him
Id be carefull on where n who you ask. Might get a black eye if you go asking a trucker in a layby if hes a naturist.
Love night driving for that reason, I see a fair few Barn Owls, tons of rabbits, some foxes, voles, ratties, deer etc. Always go slower on country roads to try & avoid running anything over, ‘spider-senses’ get on alert anyway

I echo that, I very often see the deer grazing near the roadside, & rabbits, barn owls , they’re on the decline, rats pulling on the dead flesh of roadkill, voles, weasel’s, stoats, & there’s an urban vixen who’s very bold & often scavenging not far from the trucks. Seen a big urban dog fox too just further up the road in the same area. And in the mornings when early dawn is just breaking , there are the pheasants on the fields, & I saw a badger crossing the dual carriageway , it was running like heck!
I met this bloke who had a big bag full of vipers. He dared me to put my hand in; so I did… It was just like posting on Trucknet.
