Seen any ? I saw one of the 'film stars ’ from trucking hell that over dramatised (well narration) recovery documentary if you can call it that
Saw a crouch recovery truck with Rory I think it is behind the wheel , not sure where he was going (empty ) as it was towards Welshpool , not exactly local to Leicestershire .
To be fair he comes across a decent enough guy on tv .
I’m sure I saw that bald guy (Matt was it ?) off that awful stobart programme in a services once .yea I did drive off without getting an autograph
So what film stars have u seen not inc that mark Dixon bell end
Seen that dude with the cowboy hat on off the supertruckers programme when it was kings heavy haulage on Strensham the other week was he called Aubrey or something
Not truck related but I once stopped in deepest Lancashire to help out a fellow Biker who was broken down. As I took my lid off he said ‘Ive run out of pigging petrol’, it was Bobby Ball! Gave him a back to the services on my GPZ 750 (which shows how long ago its was). Nice fella
I have known a fair few famous people and become friends with some, all that finished when I moved North 8 years ago, no one famous lives in the North really.

Saw Billy Connolly walking towards Ipswich docks tooted my horn no reaction at all , so i drove around ten minutes later there he was looking at some boats thru a mesh fence. Called over to him "Billy “he then slowly turned around"it IS you!” ,he came over and shook my hand thru the window then wandered off, said not 1 word. In hindsight i think he was probably hiding from me when up against that mesh fence
Back in the 90s whenever BBC East did an article on the construction industry I had a drive past part straight across the front of the camera crew. Didn’t even know they were there I
I’d love to meet a few guys from outback truckers Steve Graeme and Dennis dent (fella with the merc poweliner or whatever it is ) to name a couple … Both absolute legends in my book .
Interview for the driving conditions in the snow, how difficult it was, and was at the front of a protest convoy by mistake, came out of a wee weight limit, bang in front of convoy just as camera cars turned up…
I was on bbc look north west once about 30 years ago , they were doing a piece in Blackburn town centre and I was there in the background sat in my merc 814 stuffing my chubby chops
Not films stars (or through driving) but I’ve done work at the houses of Peter Kay, Paddy McGuinness, Kym Marsh and Nat Lofthouse, and at the gym owned by Tyson Fury. Got a shout of “Arses down lads!” From Bobby Ball’s car too!
