I have searched on here for the information but can’t seem to find what im looking for.
Today will be my first time on a ferry - from Birckenhead to Belfast . Was wondering what mode i should set my macho to?
That and any other information i might need id be grateful for

Break/Rest, or if you use it you could stick it on POA. It’s an 8 hour crossing, I think, so with the time on board before it sets off you will probably be able to squeeze a reduced daily rest period in.
If you are on a digi tacho don’t go anywhere near the Ferry option in the menu unless you are using the crossing as part of an interrupted daily rest.
Thanks for that info, but what if im stopped for less than the 9 hours minimum? and how does the ferry option / split rest period work?
