Ferry or Tunnel

What’s the cheapest ?. If the odd hour or two is not critical to the job, is it worth going Ramsgate to Ostend on a trip to Duisburg ?. What’s the price difference between each ?.

hello those who do pay for the shuttle or boat will tell you that
the prices vary , as to how many trips the buyer will be doing
some one like willi betz or ND will pay less than some who
only goes over 6times a month, each has its own good and
bad points, TRY Norfolk line,Dover, then again i have all ways
favourde Ramasgate -Ostende as they are small and when
the french are on strike you can still get over, okay the food
is not as good as when SALLY lines was running but it is much nearer
your drop which will make a difference you should make
Duisburg in one hit if there are no hold ups,

Train every time. It costs me about £30 extra per crossing for the train, but I can save 2 hours most days. Spending nearly 2 hours bobbing up and down in the channel in a floating shop with nowhere quiet to sit is not my idea of fun!

What about LD lines, any good or not?

Not when I used them (for the first & last time) on 16th Sep! Not to mention the ratio of UK Border Agency bods to freight vehicles at the docks; some lads were getting a right (OTT) going-over.

Maybe there’s some bonus for working Boulonge-sur-Mer or maybe they just like the quaint little harbour town. :unamused:

Depends if you are in a hurry… Cheapest… Seafrance… then Norfolk Line or P+O
for speed Tunnel. As long as you have accounts with or access to the above.
We (Heritage) have accounts with all major companies !!

Are you offering crossings there Neville? lolololol
