ill make it easy for you,heres an example…approaching a line of trucks all up each others arses{coz cc is on max} im on 87, so i flick it up to 89 pull out and start to drive past.the nob 2nd from front decides to pull out,because his cc is set on max hes struggleing to get past,meanwhile our friend from romania has caught us up and is now sitting about 6feet off my arse end getting annoyed at me coz he thinks it`s me thats holding him up.eventually the ■■■■ in front gets past so back up to max drive past both and pull in.the dirty gypo ■■■■■■■ behind then gets half way past me and pulls in,forcing me onto the hard shoulder with fully loaded double decker.first time i had ever pulled one as well.i about ■■■■ my self i can tell you
a romanian gets past you and you’re doing 89? he must have had the fuse out cos i’ve never met a truck from RO BG H CZ SK SLO LT LV EST PL (have i missed any? 
)that do more than 80k

So your doin 87 and approaching a line of trucks, u flick it up to 89 (I’m assuming that’s your limiter) to get by them quicker. My cc is on the limiter 90, but I’ve already passed them and you and I’m 20 mins further up the road.
If I’m coming up to a truck that’s doing 89.5 on a dual carriage way, I’ll stand by my first post and forward plan my next action, is he heavy, is he empty?? I no I’m empty and I no there’s a uphill gradient coming up. If not I’m happy to chug along in his draft and save some diesel.

s a proper overtake that is.or you could just drive around with cruise control set on max,struggle to get past then cut back in when youre only 3 feet past
Wouldn’t it be fair to say that if you can catch up with cruise set a couple of clicks lower, then if you come to the same truck with cruise on max you will pass him just as quickly as your first scenario?, the difference being you will have passed him a few miles earlier

why are you doing 87 though? you risk the chance of someone else doing a fernando on you and the speed limit is either 90 or 96 depending on your point of view

don’t know about you lot in tenerife but in andalucia fernando alonso is the marmite of sportstars
you either love him or hate him, most people around here hate him as much as they hate barcelona 
coz if i`m doing 89 and the truck in front is doing 88.5 i have nothing left so it takes ages to get past…thus annoying other drivers like the romanian i mentioned earlier
