I have never had the pleasure of container work neither have I been to Felixstowe but that last pic has opened my eyes abit!
I counted 6 ships but there must me THOUSANDS of containers there and thats just the ones on the ships, and each container has to be transported by a truck from the dock AND back again!!
So WHO is making all the (ZB) money!! Over a year there must be millions of container movements through out the UK and yet the rate is, what, £1.50 - £2.00 per mile if you are lucky!!

there is now a yellow high rise crane inthe dock moving the crane about now…I was nearby yesterday over near the jackson site and had a drive right near to the broken cranes…apperntly the legs of the broken cranes have concreate in them for extra weight
