Any help appreciated with best way to go as time will be tight ,I will be coming up the m5 Monday afternoon from Exeter end ,Had thought A38 ? Cheers Dan
A bit further round, but easier and possibly quicker would be M5 - M4 east - M32 to junction 3, turn towards Bath and it’s about a mile. To the island near Castle Court (Sainsbury’s), turn right, first right, to the end and that’s feeder road - you will have crossed over it before you got to the aforesaid island.
Steve
Yes, I would always take the M32 there whatever the time of day. There is a railway bridge but would only be a problem for a decker or tall curtainsider.
Right turn at the roundabout with the Range the one before the Sainsburys roundabout.
How high are you?
- Where you going to.
- Size of vehicle.
3 m32 has delays due to road works hence you’ll hit it around temple meads.

Low bridge just past boc so that’s a no no NO
I myself would come off at WSM and up the A370 then head along the A4 passing Temple Meads station on your left keep to the left at A37 split then left over Totterdown bridge then either left or right once you’re over that bridge depending how high you are and where you’re going, coming off at Avonmouth would be my second choice .
Hmm some varing options here ,will be 6 wheeler and only 11 ft ish ,I am going to the mast on feeder rd and probably parking there over night too ,thanks for the replys .
Never heard of it but at least you don’t need to worry about height restrictions. Various pubs, cafes and knocking shops along by the feeder!!
I would definitely go m5,m4,m32 at that height there’s no need to worry around there.

Think he means the roundabout with The Range not Sainsburys then Albert Road/Albert Crescent bridge is the one you go under which you can certainly fit at least 4.2m.
