FedEx driver had no idea how much room

…the artic he blocked needed when he turned into the yard of an agricultural merchant… So I was minding my own business trundling through Wickham on my way to take my class one test today. Could see a FedEx van across our side of the road, so slowed up, has did the two ahead of me. His reversing lights were on as we were approaching, but he was stationary, presumably waiting to be flashed out. They’re not usually that shy… After we had stopped, he still couldn’t make his mind up, so the two in front of me lost patience and slalomed their way past him and the now stationary oncoming traffic. I could see the artic was turning right so I reversed a bit to give him even more room. Mr. FedEx was still hesitant, but reversed out towards me, stopping right in front of the gate. Patient artic driver shrugged and indicated he still didn’t have enough room to turn. So Mr. FedEx decides he going forwards, past where he was trying to go, even though he had way more room than enough to back up towards me. Artic driver gave me a thumbs up looking very grim and Mr FedEx was left parked on the left as we all got on with our lives.
Did it really need to be such a difficult scenario to fathom out?
Could I have shortened my telling of the story?
Did the artic drivers day improve?
All these questions and more are of no interest whatsoever probably, so I ought to apologise for wasting your time. But I’m not going to, so there.
In other news, I passed my C+E.

Congratulations

Congratulations.

Well done dude. Here’s wishing you many happy years.

Congrats again pal…

From the way YOU are describing it mate, you’re thinking like a TRUCK driver observing the behavior of a VAN driver. He probably hasn’t had the experience and therefore appreciation you have now!

Or he may well just be a bellend in a van!
