Retarder leaks oil out when filled. Is there any particular seal or gasket that is at fault. It works ok it seems ,but oil leaks out fast.
What would cost be to do gaskets, is it easy a job one could tackle?
Where does it leak from, the mushroom shaped breather on the main unit on the back of the gearbox?
Does it smell of gearbox oil?
Mine is doing the same, and my accumulator is leaking as well, Scania repair kits total nearly £700 & Vat, that is alot of drums, and shoes, lol.

where is it leaking from■■? is this the truck with the bodged engine job■■?
