Favourite overnight parking

Where’s the one place you look forward to parking for the night, and why? Mine’s on the quayside at Berwick on Tweed. Costs a tenner, but has a chippy, Chinese, shops and pubs right outside the gates. Swans in the harbour (tasty, but difficult to catch) and a wonderful view across the river.

Exmouth is lovely. " mins walk to pubs/ shops and the view across the estuary is magnificent!

Aberaeron between the harbour and the beach in winter when there’s no one around.

Taunton

Do you mean opposite the cricket ground? If so, it closed about 3 years ago and is now a housing estate!

Kircaldy is lovely, especially if you park facing the sea.I forgot Redruth & Barnstaple in the west country, both free and nice pubs within a few mins walk. Cleethorpes too is ok but the pubs are (obviously) a bit loud & boisterous during the summer.

Stockyard

strange that is
you live in Mansfield but prefer to park less than 30 mins away at stockyard

many years ago I parked in Worcester, down by the river (racecourse?) Is this still possible?

Any chance of a street name, just trying to put it in the memory banks. Cheers
