What are the up and coming platforms for 2015 particularly related to our job, and whats your favourite desktop device, I personally loathe and detest Microsoft whats your poison■■?
Smart phone. Left it at home one Monday, and honestly, I thought my arm had fell off.
I had to buy books for God’s sake!

Google maps, alarm clock etc be lost without it, also useful for texting my good lady when im back in the yard so she can put the kettle on lol
my chrome book no viruses fast great kit beats a windows lappy anytime

I have the misfortune to have Windows in my workplace and every day I wish I could throw it out of the window, nice to come home to a proper computer.
At home I use a desktop computer running Windows 7 x64 and can’t fault it, away from home I use my smart phone running Android Jelly-bean.

An 09 version iMac, the initial cost was probably double that of a windows computer but the cost of ownership is minimal and reliability is 100%. Anything with windows tends to be knackered after 3 years at best, you have to pay for software updates and anti virus software, an unreliable rip off.

I completely agree mate, I was running a 07 iMac up until 3 months ago, it never cost me a penny in 7 years of ownership. My wife bought me a new 27" iMac as a 30th birthday present to replace the old girl and I cant fault it.
Strangely enough I cant get on with iPhones and prefer my Galaxy.
