Fat shit

alamcculloch:
I would like to be fair and say that in some cases there are other issues to consider,E.G. glandular disorder or digestive complaint of some sort. This guy did slim down and then allowed himself to get heavier. There must be people around him giving him the wrong sort of foodas he does not seem to cook or do any thing else for himself.

fair enough to say he may have a medical condition but come on jeez 70 stone thats one lazy[ZB] christ ive lost twa stone in the last 3/4 months by actually havin to graft instead of driving all day havent changed what im eating that much maye cut down on the junk food a bit but not much. because i am a pringles addict

All valid points and very amusing but the point is that a free health service should treat everyone regardless…

You could argue that there should be no free treatment for-

Obese
Alcoholics
Smokers
Motorcyclists
Your mate who broke his leg playing sport on a Sunday
STD’s
Drugies etc…

Anyway, Its Sat night and I’m off for a few pints, 20 ■■■■, a dirty big kebab, sleep with the local bike, and off on the crosser tomorrow…
Rolling a nice big fat one as we speak

The thing is, last time he was taken to hospital, he had an operation and his weight was reduced to 45 stone.

after the op, he was overheard saying to a relative that was visiting him in hospital, that the op and the reduction in weight would seriously harm his chances of being the world’s fattest man :open_mouth:

i’m sorry, but if that is his attitude and ambition, why should the NHS (read, everyone else paying into it) keep having to fork out for his health issues that are self inflicted under a misguided ambition to be the world’s fattest man

Where was this reported I wonder. Some ■■■■■■ reporter hears him having a bit of a joke and twists it out of context. Who could blame him after a serious operation. You or me wern’t their to hear it or in what context so what right do we have to judge.

You people should all be ashamed. Like someone else said there should we withold treatment for motorcycle accident victims, why should I pay for them. But thats not the way National Heath should work at all.

If you don’t want socialised heathcare get on to you MP’s call town hall meetings make it an issue for the next general election rather than usher in yet another fall guy who’ll continue business as usual at no 10 for another while.

Or hears a better idea - sit on a forum and ■■■■■ and moan. Yea, thats the best route to take methinks. Fancy a cuppa anyone?

Hang on a second here Pete, “we should be ashamed”. Where do you get that from then?

I agree that there should be shame felt here, the guy in question should hang his head in shame, the loving Mother who probably started him off along this route should hang her head in shame, but to say that the rest of us who would feel compassion for, say a cancer victim, should feel shame is not only way wide of the mark, it is positively insulting.

I wonder if he’d be as large if he lived for example in rural China, in Vietnam, or Somalia? I think we all know the answer to that is a resounding NO. He probably isn’t the result of Western society, but by God he’s certainly abused Western societies systems aint he?

The simple truth is that nobody force fed him and nobody stopped him from excercising. His choice (and yes, he made the choice. We all do), he has to live (or die) with the consequences.

If you feel people are being cruel here with their comments, well why shouldn’t we? We all want to eat chocolate 'till we puke, we all want to almost live in the pub drinking 'till we fall over but we don’t. Why don’t we? Because we know that ultimately it’s bad for us and it’ll destroy our bodies.

If you expect me to show sympathy for a man who’s willingly abused and destroyed his body, then don’t hold your breath Pete.

By the way, I drink, I smoke, I race motorcycles. When I finally destroy my body i lokk for neither pity nor sympathy. My choice my friend.
