Farewell to VOSA

As of the 28th November 2013, VOSA is no more, on that date it amalgamated with the Driving Standards Agency to become the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, DVSA for short.

Oh, goody! My formerly insignificant life is now fulfilled and complete in every way. :unamused:

No doubt in the name of cost saving. Hiw much does it cost in advertising and rebranding

That’s a really poor name… doesn’t even spell anything - I think it should be called: Driver and Vehicle Executive (DAVE).

the galaxys still have VOSA on the side though?

At first glance at that I just read DIVS

it was launched on the 28th, formal setting is for april 2014 :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

I’ll bet the vinyl wrapping industry is rubbing it’s hands! Must be like getting a bulk order from Stobies.

somebody had to mention stobies :unamused: . We all now what happens next. Go on guys do your worst

Bet you don’t get Clubcard points for your fines though!

guess its back to referring to them as “the ministry” again - or rather “the agency” :unamused:

I was just gonna ask …How long do you reckon until we stop referring to them as ‘VOSA’ - bearing in mind that we used to call them ‘the Ministry’ for ages after VOSA was formed. Also VOSA seems a bit easier to say than ‘DVSA’, so I think it may take a while■■?

Any chance of getting an"I" inserted between the D and the V?
