Even running your own van, you ain’t going to make anything on this.

Multi Drop Driver (Courier)

Job description

We are advertising for couriers who will be working out of a Depot in Littleborough delivering parcels in the Skipton and surrounding areas (Between 60 & 90 stops per day) average earning between £65 and £90 depending on how many you deliver. Only apply if you have had Multi Drop Experience with major courier companies, this is a Self-Employed position based on a self-billing system. Payment is net monthly paid in and around the 16th of each month depending on weekends. You will need your own van (Jumbo transit size or Merc Sprinter)if you cannot supply your own vehicle you can hire one from the company for a reasonable rate you can also use the companies fuel facilities as well (4 Metre vans cost £150 per week and 3 metre vans cost £135 per week). All costs will be highlighted on your self-bills and deducted from the revenue you have generated within the month in question. You can provide your own insurance or alternatively you can use the companies vehicle insurance the criteria’s are you must be over 21 years of age, no more than 6 points on your license and if you have had a ban you must have had you licence back 5 years before you Qualify for the company insurance, and it costs £40 per week. A recent CRB will be required if you do not have one the company will apply for one on your behalf for a standard fee of £25.
