Foden was the first UK manufacturer. to use Rockwell’s light-duty SQ100 tandem-drive bogie. In a Cummins NTE 350 -powered 6x4 unit with a Fuller RTX 11609 ‘box, it was quite an impressive beast, especially if it had the wedge-sleeper cab. ERF followed suit with the SQ100 the same year.

Note also the little Routiers pennant, the small Bibendum on the mirror arm, and …wait for it…a set of furry dice! (although difficult to see and not in the middle of the windscreen) Pure class!
