Come on now seriously, have you got nothing better to do than to keep posting this ■■■■? WTF have half of these posts got to do with driving a lorry? Don’t want to sound rude but half the stuff you post on here is completely pointless in a truck forum. Fair enough, you might be sitting at home with nothing to do but can’t you watch a bit of ■■■■■ and play with yourself or something instead?

You are entitled to your opinion in a democratic country, but i thought with the young drivers that are in between jobs could gain an insight to an alternative career while they get knocked back with agencies and transport firms that insist on 2 years experience for a job. Thanks for the personal attack, while i was only trying to help someone out,i was not selling anything or getting a commision or a bonus,as the courses are free to anyone that has an interest in that subject,so kick a man while he is down, like the rest on here.If i said that to you over a pint in the pub, would you mention that i need to whack off or watch ■■■■■■■ movies,i could be a mental patient on the run from a secure prison,as you do not know me,or who i am,but you do have a point in me wasting my time to help others out,who have spent a fortune on the licence to get knocked back.

I don’t see any of my post as a personal attack and apologies to you if you do. Could you explain your point about 2 years experience a bit more? I fail to see the correlation between sports therapy and truck driving. If a newly qualified driver came to me with 2 years experience in massaging dodgy knees, I don’t think I would be any closer to hiring him than a newly qualified driver that couldn’t.

My point is this, most of the stuff I see you post is the ramblings of a bloke with too much time on his hands, bored out of his nut. Don’t get me wrong, I know you had the bike accident and had a bang on your swede and i’m not going to knock you for not working at the moment, no doubt you would if you could, but really and truly, you could do with keeping some of it to yourself, as to be honest most of it is not really relevant most of the time.

I’ve got no problem with you posting stuff, but you’re a senior member, you know how to post, why can’t you put stuff like this in the job section?

I agree happy, I’ve given up opening any threads started by him now I’ve never read so much drivel :unamused:
I’m sure Tony is a nice fella in person, but to be honest this stuff has no place in the newbs section. I doubt there are many 16-19 years olds on here ‘in-between jobs’ on the lorrys

Think you need to get out the house more Tony, a hobby away from the Internet for a while might do you some good

Thanks for the personal attack, …

Toby,

MrHappy clearly attacked your post, he didn’t attack you at any point that I can see, and as such, MrHappy’s post is completely within the forum rules.

I suggest that a read of forum Rule #3 would clarify this for you.

I enjoyed Tobies post as this is out of hours it doesnt have to be direcctly concerned with driving. Those sports coaches and whatlike are on a good bung.AFAIK £18-£22. per hour but they dont get that many hours. For young fit folk or offspring of truckers would be worth thinking about.
