False/broken promise by TM: Grievance or not?

Leave and go back in on the agency

It seems the OP is in a difficult situation, it appears that they need £■■■.■■ per week income. So they took the opportunity to go full time crossing over from the agency. But the new job isn’t paying enough to provide said £■■■.■■ per week. So with everyone suggesting that he goes back on agency, they may have overlooked the flaw with agency work … there’s is no guarantee of £■■■.■■ per week. This is why agency work doesn’t suit those who need £■■■.■■ per week to cover mortgages, feeding a young family etc. It’s highly likely the OP will not get beyond the probationary period on this job, as they’ll either roll the probationary period over for another 12 weeks to keep him temp2perm or get rid of him and send him back to the agency

I too thinks its time for you to look elsewhere, but, i’d try to leave on good terms if possible, you might need that reference some time in the future if you have the chance of a dead mans shoes job.

References are a thing of the past due to data protection most now ignore requests or just confirm that you have worked there for the period in question

the maoster:
we go to work to earn money not gather friends.

Most on here would be bitterly disappointed if they did.

Do let us know how this goes for you.
