My advice is this - You are trying to get into a club that the examiners are already members of. They hold all of the cards and yes you can appeal but how in reality do you think this will pan out exactly?
Put it behind you and take your test again. In your driving career you will encounter many roundabouts like the one you have mentioned its just the way it is.
