It was always going to be an amusing affair with the “ice man” on the top step , given his usual monosyllabic replies to interviewers and he didn’t disappoint , only to be upstaged by Seb Vettal with colourful use of his “second language” Is there more to this than we know ? Were they in cohorts to embarrass DC ? They did a great job of it .Hilarious
I don’t think he was over the moon when vettel poured the “rose water” over his head. Pmsl
Great race, made even better by Kimi’s comments during and after
.Vettel’s ‘slip’ was very probably to put DC on the spot, but he fielded it well.
Cracking race though…
Enjoyed Kimi’s response a few years ago when Martin Brundle was looking for him on the grid walk. (2009?)
When found, Martin asked him where he had been, “For a ■■■■” came the reply.

I remember that!! Classic Kimi what a legend.
Dunno how true it is but I once heard a story about Kimi in that they’d fitted a heart beat monitor to him and other drivers during a race. Most drivers were peaking at about 180bpm whereas Kimis’ allegedly reached 68bpm during one particularly stressful moment. Legend.

I’m sure that there was some kind of celebration in honour of Schumacher-
another record,or retirement announcement maybe?.Kimi, it seems, wasn’t that keen to attend.
