Shouldn’t these have rear steer , or is it the fact you rarely extend them too max length they don’t bother . Ta
why? at fully extended your only about 60 foot and with an ordinary extender I have never had an issue , go over 18.6 metre and outside C&U then yes rear steer is a good idea, however I have had trailers 100 foot with no automatic rear steer, hopefully they are all in the scrap yard and cut up now . trouble with positive steer is they act in a way that other road users don’t expect, they have a far larger swing, they need a driver with a bit more nous than your average joe
I can not be the only one here who can now not get the terrifying prospect of dozy being let loose with a tomboy trailer oit of my hrad? ? …
Edit : trombone trailer… I hate aotu correct.

It was from a observation , just looking at it extended last night I thought it would be better with rear steer , but yea your right got on with it fine today after loading so no real need for rear steer .
must admit i did breathe a sigh of relief when I got tipped and closed it up though
I have a double extrandable step frame lowloader in my yard Goes out to 24m and a ne k of about 4m that has no self tracking just standard axles. It does focus your mind
