Guys, if I drive for say…4 1/4 hour due to finding somewhere to stop, take 45 and then the same again, do I still have the 15 mins to add onto my last driving period, hour and a half. Thus still adding up to 10 hrs

Yes total of 9 extended to 10 .
You could do any formula ie
3 - 45r 3 45r 4
Any unused min from the 4.5 drive can be added just because you don’t use it don’t mean you lose it unless your out of duty time
Regardless of when or how many driving breaks you have you do not lose any of the daily driving time.
You can have half a dozen 45 minute breaks and you’ll still be able to do a total of 9/10 hours daily driving time … whether you’ll still have a job is another question though
