I have a class 2 licence but no experience so was thinking about volunteering for an aid convoy which would be worth while and good to help out and get some good experience along the way. Any one had any such convoy experience/ideas.

Don’t know, but I’m guessing the’re a very slight possibility of being shot or killed!

Might need some experience first if not could be an interesting trip if your sent to the middle of nowhere,yes drive “up that dirt track 5 miles but mind the potholes and broken bridges”
As for getting shot and killed usual kinda thing in walsall middle of the day lol 
I know the feeling, i’ve got relations in Walthamstow…drive around there after midnight you can drive anywhere lol ! It was just a thought to get some experience under my belt, …back to the drawing board…
Aid conveys are normally looking for experienced guys…someone with at least 12 months continuous driving

Sounds logical, they don’t want someone who decides they don’t fancy it a couple of days in!
